Checking in with our expecting girlie. She's got the best wag. I love my dogs so much, and these last few days leading up to whelping are extra special.

This brother and sister duo are being retired from our program simply because they are from a line that cannot be moved over to UKC or AKC. They have been raised with love and lots of hopes and dreams, and this decision is not an easy one.
Finesse is about 10 lbs. She's pearl and white, and she is a very affectionate little girl. She's pretty social with new people and loves to play with her brother and everyone else.
Panache is the slightly merled tan guy. He's about 15 lbs. He does the best b***y dance when you scritch him in the just the right spot. He also plays very well with others.
They are 20 months old. They could go home together, but they would be okay without one and other. Both do best in a home where they will not be home alone for a full work day, as they cannot consistently hold their potty that long. They go out every 4 hours or so here and do well. Though they do not have to go together, we think you would have a blast watching them love each other. They need to be spayed and neutered before they go to a new family, and we will take care of that.

Little Sriracha will be 17 weeks tomorrow. She's pretty spectacular. Racha sleeps through the night, has had all but her rabies shot, is mostly house trained, loves to be held and plays well with everyone. If you are the right fit, she could move in as soon as this weekend. Please note that taking home this little girl comes with a contractual agreement to boop her nose daily, hand out crunchy-os, and sing silly songs to her. She's a striking solid black, and she will take care of your heart and soul if you let her.

Handsome Romeo is about 13 lbs. He's a sweet boy who loves to do zoom loops on my bed. He is sire to the upcoming litter and has produced some knockout pups in the past.

My dream is that this darling boy finds a home with room to zoom, lots of fetch, and his very own human who wants hugs every day. Holden is not a big fan of very young pups. He is not patient with their lack of social skills. He'd do well with being the only dog or having a couple of female dog friends. He tends to get picked on by other males. Holden is 6.5. He was just neutered and had a dental done in January, and he's all set. This boy has the energy of a puppy, a heart of gold and the ability to make you feel like the most special person on the planet.

We are on puppy watch with our beautiful Upendi. Look at that belly! She was mama to our Lion King II litter last July, and we are very excited to meet these kiddos. Upendi is out of our Karisma and Holden, and it is so fun knowing many dogs behind her. Sire to this litter is Romeo. He sired our Pack Rats and To the Moon and Back litters in 2023 and 2024. We are expecting all piebald pups, and a lot of them will likely be heavily marked. We could get both bicolor and tricolor pups in black, blue, chocolate and pearl. We have a few families on the waitlist already, so please connect if you are interested. These pups will be miniatures likely ranging in size from about 10-15 lbs.

On February 22, 2012, I brought a wild boy named Bingo home from Sauk County Humane Society. Before we were home, he got a name upgrade and became Ruckus. I believe our pets live many lives, and I also believe before he was Ruckus, he was my Snickers. They had so many common habits and patterns. It seems nearly inconceivable that it not be true. Ruckus came into my life about 9 months after Snickers passed, and his estimated age was 9-12 months at the time he came home with me.

Ruckus was loud. That's what happens with a name like Ruckus. The entire neighborhood knew when he was going for a walk up until about 3 years ago. He would scream and yip his way down my driveway, and it usually took at least a mile to get him to settle. I recall one day when he was new to me. We were out walking, and a neighbor asked if I was training him to be a service dog. When I replied in the negative she said "In that case, he's adorable."
Though Ruck was not a service dog, he was the dog I trained tasks to before training the service dogs so I could be sure I was training behaviors correctly. He used to walk by and slam cupboard doors when I was trying to teach service dog pups how to do same. It was like he was saying "Oh brother! It's really not that hard. Just do this!" He was halarious and did most things with a keen sense of humor.
I remember at my first house when he learned to jump my fence. It was during a thunderstorm, and I was looking everywhere for him. He's the reason I can say I have ridden in the back of a police car. An officer saw me out looking for him and offered to drive the streets with me. In the end, we returned home to realize that he had jumped into a neighbor's fenced yard and was safe. He hated storms and fireworks after that night.
Eventually, we moved to a new big house with a taller fence, and he went right over that one, too. He had to go out on a tie out after that, and he would bark and screech when he was ready to come back in. I am sure the neighbors loved him.
In 2018, we moved yet again, and I intentionally chose a home with a six foot privacy fence so he could not escape. Alas, the joke was on me, and he jack rabbited his way up the horizontal rails and was gone in a flash, so it was back to the tieout. In 2020, storms did some serious damage to my fence, and I decided to redo the whole thing. $12000 later, I finally had an escapeproof yard and Ruckus could run freely.
Ruckus had a huge presence, and he protected my heart. He was a wonderful baby spoon, he loved puppies, and he never met a stranger. I was so lucky to be his lady.
On February 10, 2020, he lost control of his back left leg, and I was so scared it was something progressive and I would lose him soon, but with lots of therapy, he gained most of his mobility back. On February 10, 2025, he began experiencing serious back pain, and again with therapy, he was up and running again. On February 10, 2026, he met the aponent he could not defeat. Ruckus had a terrible seizure and did not really come back from it. I made the terrible decision to say good bye last night. I have been through this many times, but it does not get easier. There is an endless list of things I will do for the first time without him. Most of those things I did with him blissfully unaware it was the last time. It once again reminds me of the importance of living each experience with the reverence of the first time and the awareness that it could be the last.
Ruckus has left a very quiet hole in my life. Please share your memories and pictures of him if you were one who was lucky enough to know him. The antics and stories are endless.
Rest in peace my sweet boy. Enjoy the sunshine, yell at whatever needs yelling at, and I beg you to wait for me. I love you and miss you so terribly already.

Here is a photo I took of him snoozin on my bed 2 weeks after adoption. It was the first time I was sure he felt safe and secure and at peace in my home.

I was able to interrupt play long enough to share these two babies with you this morning. Sriracha is ready to go now, and ketchup will be ready once we figure out some skin and coat issues that are going on. They are 15 weeks old. Please reach out if you might be interested.

This sassy duo is highly entertaining, and they are both looking for their families. Ketchup, the mail in the blue collar will be available soon, but we're currently figuring out some minor health concerns with him. Sriracha is ready to go now.

VD: Two solid black pups wrestling on the bed.

Sriracha is 14 weeks old tomorrow, and she'd love to be the spice of your life. This darling has had her first two puppy boosters and is doing very well with house training even in this bitter cold. Please reach out if you might like to bring her home. These photos are from her visit to one of our families homes while Meghan was on a work trip. She will be a treat to whoever takes her and makes her family.

The Travel Litter have all gone home! Congrats to and huge thanks to all of their forever families. We cannot wait to hear about their lives with you!

All 3 pups in this photo will be looking for retirement homes within the next year. Panache, the merle boy in the foreground is the first we are looking to place. He is 17 months old, and he's a total goof. With the retirement of our merle lines, his handsome self cannot be a papa. Please reach out if you are interested in him. Twyla, the black and tan girlie will be looking for her retirement home after her last litter this spring, and Mirage may have one more litter this fall, but we would consider retiring her now to the right family. Panache is about 15 lbs, and both of the girls are about 8 lbs.
