After a remarkable career helping businesses succeed, Scott Crist is retiring from First Business Bank. Since joining the Bank in 2018 as Vice President II - Treasury Management, Scott has brought decades of banking experience, a passion for helping clients improve their operations, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of the businesses and people he serves.
Throughout his career, Scott focused on helping people solve problems and create opportunities for growth. In a story he shared several years ago, he reflected on a client who changed the course of his career and reinforced the importance of helping people through difficult financial situations. That experience stayed with him for decades and remained one of the reasons he was passionate about helping clients succeed.
Clients valued Scott for his practical advice, responsiveness, and ability to help them strengthen cash flow, improve efficiency, and prepare for challenges. Whether guiding businesses through periods of uncertainty or helping them identify new opportunities, he brought a steady hand and genuine care for their success.
Many colleagues also know Scott for another achievement: his extraordinary quest to climb Denali. The determination, discipline, and teamwork required for that expedition reflected the same qualities he brought to work every day. His story inspired coworkers across the company and gave many of us a deeper appreciation for his determination, resilience, and willingness to take on big challenges.
As Scott begins this next chapter, we thank him for his dedication to our clients, his contributions to First Business Bank, and the example he set for those around him. We wish him many new adventures, time with family and friends, and every happiness in retirement. Congratulations, Scott, and thank you for everything you've contributed throughout your career. We will miss you and wish you the very best in retirement.

First Business Bank will never call and ask you to share this information, no matter how urgent the request sounds or how familiar the caller ID looks.
