O Spirit of God, you who sest the diciples aflame with the fire of God, put a fire in our bones, we pray, so that we, in Jesus' name and for his sake, might preach the good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, and set the oppressed free. We pray this in the life-giving name of Jesus. Amen.

O Spirit of God, you who turned the chaos of Babel into the harmony of Penecost, take the many discordant parts of Christ's body this day, we pray, and make them one, so that a watching world may see and believe in the One who holds all things together. We pray this in the name of Jesus, the One who ever prays that we might be one. Amen.

Resurrected Lord, you who opened the eyes of the disciples so that they ight recognize our presence with them, open my eyes, I pray, so that I might not be blind to our presence at home, at work, or in my exchanges with friend and stranger alike. I pray this in the name of Jesus, the One who opens the eyes of the blind. Amen.

Resurrected Lord, you who revealed yourself in the breaking of the bread and who delighted to share breakfast with your disciples, may we see you not only in the Eucharistic meal that we share with your Body but also in our own common meals, so that we might delight in each other's company as you do in ours. We pray this in the name of Jesus, the Bread of Life. Amen.
