🌱 Muddy hands, happy hearts! 🪵✨

Today, our peques dug deep to discover what actually makes up the soil beneath our feet!

We didn’t just look at dirt—we became part of it! Through movement, we acted out how rocks break down over time.

Then, we played interactive games to sort organic matter, and finished by crafting our very own multi-layer “soil jars.” 🎨🐛

It is amazing how much science you can learn just by getting a little messy and playing together! 🌍❤️

🎸 Rock Stars in Training! 🪨✨

Our preschoolers turned into little geologists today! We spent the morning diving into the wonderful world of rock sorting, using our hands and eyes to classify our favorite stones. It is such a fun, hands-on way to build math, science, and language skills all at once without the kids even realizing they’re learning! 🧠🌟

We also wove in some Spanish vocabulary while we explored. The kids loved sorting by tamaño—comparing grande and pequeño rocks—and grouping them by color, from deep dark blacks to bright whites. We even talked about textura as they ran their fingers over liso smooth stones and áspero rough ones. 🎨📏

This kind of sorting is so great because it helps young minds naturally notice patterns and describe the world around them. Want to keep the fun going at home? Just grab a bucket, head outside, and start your own clasificación de rocas! 🏞️

Our kiddos had the best time diving into the world of
la tortuga. From getting creative with turtle-themed crafts to practicing our Spanish vocabulary through play, it was a “shell” of a good time! 🎨🌊

How we explored “La Tortuga”:

•Art Station: Crafting our very own colorful turtle shells.

•Sensory Play: Exploring “ocean” habitats in our sand and water bins.

•Story Time: Learning all about the life cycle of these amazing sea creatures.

It’s so much fun watching their curiosity grow as they learn about the world (and new languages!) one step at a time. 🌏💚

🐯 Roaring into learning! Today, our peques went on a wild adventure to discover everything about el Tigre!

We had the absolute best time today exploring everything about el Tigre with our amazing peques! Instead of just reading about tigers, we totally immersed ourselves in the jungle.

The room was filled with so much energy as everyone pounced and crawled around like real tigers, played games to find matching stripes, and danced along to some super fun rhythms. We also got a little messy making our own tiger crafts, which the kids absolutely loved. It is honestly so magical watching them pick up new words and skills just by playing and being creative.

Our classroom was reaching for the clouds today as we hung out with la jirafa! 🦒✨

There’s something so sweet about watching the kids discover the world through patterns. We spent the morning spotting spots everywhere, playing games that got us moving like tall giraffes, and letting the music guide our learning. It’s amazing how much “math” happens naturally when they’re just having fun with colors and rhythms! 🎶🎨

The best part? Seeing them take everything they learned and pour it into their own beautiful jirafa creations. Each one has its own personality—just like your little ones!

There is honestly nothing better than hearing a room full of toddlers practicing their best “ROAR!” Today was one of those days where the classroom just felt alive. We spent the whole morning getting to know el León using our hands, our feet, and definitely our voices!
From the focus on their faces while making their lion crafts to the giggles during dramatic play, it was so special to see them dive into the world of the jungle. My favorite part? Watching them work so hard to “feed” the lion—it’s amazing how much “work” they put in when they’re having this much fun. 🐾
