Radical Sweets: Vegan Eats and Treats
Vegan Pastry Chef, Cara Moseley, makes unique vegan desserts for the Green Owl Cafe and teaches classes at the W***y Street CoOps and other various venues in and around the Madison Area. Cara has long been cooking up creative concoctions, and has helped open up the Green Owl Cafe as staff Pastry Chef, featuring vegan, gluten free and raw vegan desserts while frequently including fresh and local ingredients.

We are getting really excited about next weekend's Vegan Fest!! Make sure you come down to the Goodman Community Center for all the fun! I will be doing a vegan pastry cream demo at 12:45, and The Green Owl will be vending food, too. Last year was such a success, I can't even imagine how great it will be this year, so don't miss the fun!

Tomorrow's Vegan Cheesecake Class will feature Mango Cheesecake with a gingersnap-coconut crust. A Gluten Free Peanut Butter-Chocolate swirl cheesecake topped with chocolate ganache, and the ever popular Vanilla Cheesecake. I think the class might be full, but call W***y Street CoOp West if you want to try to join in last minute!

Vegan Boston Cream Pie, special order for a special lady, Valerie.
I'm taking holiday orders for vegan cakes, pies, cheesecakes, raw vegan, you name it! I can make it!
I am going to see what kind of magic I can do in the kitchen today. I'm thinking a vegan cheesecake inspired by a pineapple upside down cake.
