Last but not least in our lineup of 2025/26 officers is our President Will Diego from El Cerrito! Will has been riding for a total of 9 years, and the past 3 have been on the team. Some of Will’s favorite rides are in Santa Cruz, a favorite area for many riders. Will does enduro, xc and some road riding! A core memory on the team is of riding Nobel Canyon during team camp. This year, Will is looking forward to getting back into racing after an injury and is excited to see what the various race seasons hold!

Noah focuses on road riding and some of his favorite rides occur during the SDBC Saturday rides. A core memory of Noah’s on the team is Swamdo, where he was still new to cycling, but got to ride with a ton of other super nice people in the cycling community. Similar to Nathaniel, Noah also has the goal to not crash this year! .packman

He primarily rides on the road but on occasion he will be caught up on the mountain trails and is soon to be seen in the track! Dane’s favorite ride is the Swami’s Group Ride. The next officer I’ll introduce in our 2025/26 lineup is our track captain, Daniel Klosterman from Los Angeles. Daniel has been riding his whole life and additionally has been on the team since 2020! Daniel rides many disciplines, riding track, mountain, and road. Some of his favorite races take place at the track, specifically elimination races! A key team memory of Daniel’s is the cleanest possible bottle hand off at the Feed Zone at the SB Road Race to Dominic without any prior practice. Daniel has a wide variety of goals this year including getting out and exploring more this year, whether that be trails, routes, rides, races, as well as he wants to meet new people and go play bikes!

Last Sunday we hosted our race, the Triton Crit, for the second consecutive year! Special thanks to and for sponsoring the Men and Women pro field prize purse, and and for providing gear for primes! Unfortunately with our truck getting broken into we were not able to distribute these prizes, but we didn’t let that ruin a great event! Thanks to everyone who came out and raced, watched, and supported the race and UC San Diego Cycling! We appreciate the support and a huge shout out to our president Dom for directing the race and carrying the event! Looking forward to getting an even bigger turnout next year! (Hint: It won’t be on Mother’s Day!)

Collegiate Road Nationals in the books! Dominic and Dennis fought hard in the road race, bridging gaps and making things happen. In the criterium, Dominic snagged some valuable omnium points during a prime lap. Big thanks to USA Cycling, Trek, and everyone who made this amazing weekend possible—and to our sponsors for giving us the opportunity to chase these experiences. Bonus: we got to explore Trek HQ too!
