Ervine notes, " My work is inspired by what is close to home - my Middleton community, natural places, and small details of everyday life."

Featuring Artists: Matthew Braunguinn, Jessie Burton, Maile Lloyd, Rachel Hunter, Noah Peterson, Paola Mayorga, Chele Ramos, Audrey Rankin, R-Lo, Jimmy Shields

Have a Seat, It's Just Over the Horizon is a group exhibition that speaks to themes of hope and gathering, not only through the individual narratives told but through the collective efforts of a group of real friends coming together to make art, stir change, and build community. These artists regularly work together and/or body double in work spaces, building a collective influence on each other and their work. This show is the culmination of showing up, finding your people, sharing love and making things happen for the collective betterment.

Submissions due MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2026, by 11:59 PM.

The twenty-seventh edition of our annual arts calendar and poster is extra special as 2027 marks the 50th Anniversary of Dane Arts! We are thrilled to continue to celebrate our treasured Dane County Arts and Culture!

Artists selected for the calendar and poster will also be invited to exhibit their work in a group exhibition titled "The Treasures of Dane County" at Aubergine Gallery (1226 Williamson St, Madison) October - December 2026.
