We’ve spent years capturing moments of joy for others, so seeing this capture of ourselves was a sweet change of pace! This week we took home the title of Best Barn Venue in WI and this photo says it all! 😍

If I could use only one word to describe Andrew and Tracy's wedding I would choose "joyful". 🤗

Their smiles were absolutely contagious, their love palpable, and their happiness spread like wild fire.

The only thing that could come close to being sweeter than these two together- would be Lily, their pup who momentarily stole the show this weekend! 🐾

Eeeek it’s wedding week! 🥳

Since taking on Harvest Moon Pond, we have significantly scaled back on our photography work…but some people you just can’t say no to! ❤️

We are beyond touched to have been able to host Ben and Kevin's special day this past weekend.

These two have been dear friends of ours for a few years, and were some of the first people we shared the news with when we purchased the venue!

This past season they supported our growth spending countless hours on the mower, restoring the prairie, clearing brush, battling buckthorn, and even slinging drinks behind the bar!

Together they have contributed just as much love and energy to the property as we have, and we are so grateful for it.

There was a recurring theme from their guests' speeches about how Ben and Kevin are the type to always show up for the ones they care about. We feel so lucky to be a part of that circle.

Talk about a couple who cares most about what matters- the person right next to them.

It started with an engagement session years ago, which grew to a wedding, their siblings weddings, and now their journey to parenthood. 💕

I recently stopped taking on senior sessions, but when Madison and Terri reached out my heart couldn't resist!

Madison is the last of three, and I've had the pleasure of documenting her family over the past five years each with their own unique sessions!

For hers, she chose Indian Lake, hoping to embrace a little boho/granola girl feel! Her flowy dresses, fun textures, and pops of color amongst the wildflowers were a PERFECT fit!

Andrew and Tracy are getting married next year at Harvest Moon Pond, so coming here to celebrate their engagement and capture this milestone was extra special!

These two were all smiles and playfulness with one another and even though they told me they weren't big into PDA- they couldn't seem to help themselves from stealing a quick kiss between laughs.

When we first started working together, Andrew and Tracy shared that something most important to them about a photographer was the ability to bring out their natural happiness and capture their joy in bright colors. They made that far too easy. 😉

My absolute favorite moment of Mickala and Duncan’s wedding this weekend, was right after the cermony. I overheard Mickala telling Duncan how handsome he looked and how much she loved him, just as he pulled her up for a kiss. That’s the kind of wedding day vibe we wish upon everyone. 💕
