Voyageur Extended Stays

We were so thrilled to have the opportunity to host this wonderful couple on their journey!

After driving 14,915 miles this summer, from Texas to Newfoundland to Saskatchewan to Nevada (plus a month-long trip in Africa), we’ve been looking for a nice little city to tuck in to. Where we wake up with the day’s adventure already at our doorstep (no road trip required). Well, we found the perfect place….Madison, Wisconsin!

It’s a capital city and university town, so it’s got that balance of sophistication and fun. Then take all those cultural offerings and surround them with five lakes and 270 parks, and we can get our outdoor fix too. Regularly voted one of the most liveable, happiest, and greenest cities in the country, Madison is a place we are excited to live like a local for two weeks! We have a fabulous Voyageur Stays apartment within two blocks of downtown, Lake Monona, and the hip W***y Street neighborhood, with city e-bikes to take us all over town.
