More coming soon but a few quickie sneaks for your Sunday! Congrats to these adorable humans! They were fully unphased by the rainy forecast yesterday, and I think that’s why we lucked out with dry weather just in time for some outdoor photos!

After all these years, I still feel like I’m just winging it on these veil in the foreground shots. Just trying not to move it too aggressively or catch the wind too hard, balancing my camera in one hand, waving the veil around in the other, and taking waaaaay too many photos to get a few where it’s perfectly imperfect. But somehow we always get there 😉🤩

Personal post alert! I’m pregnant! I’ve been procrastinating making a social media announcement (and bad about telling people in general so sorry), but as we are rapidly approaching the half way mark, I guess it’s time? 😂 Baby girl #2 coming in February! We are all very excited, especially Cece - she’s gonna be the best big sister! 💕

The cakes for Sophie and Perri’s wedding need a whole post because YUM. When I see Madison Sourdough on the vendor list, I know it’s gonna be a good food wedding 😉🍰

Where to even begin with this one… E+E are one of the most intentional couples I’ve had the honor of capturing. They planned a day that incorporated so many things that are meaningful to their relationship from their music choices, to the live painter, to their sweet sendoff. They started the morning together getting ready before separating to get dressed. The rest of the day, they were inseparable (which of course makes my job easier 😉). A few weeks from now, these two will be starting a new adventure in a new country, so the wedding doubled as kind of a last hurrah and goodbye to a lot of friends and family. I could really tell that they were taking in every moment with their people and I loved that they had a more intimate day to be able to really enjoy their time with everyone. I could go on and on but I’m not a writer, so I’ll let the photos do the talking!

We had been watching the weather all week, and it looked like rain late in the day, but we were supposed to be fine for our early evening session time. Of course, driving there I’m looking at these very ominous clouds, scouting the blooms and checking the radar to see there is definitely rain coming that we weren’t expecting. But ya know, of course this sweet fam was already almost there, I was there, so we went for it! And the whole time I was just waiting for the skies to open up and pour on us, BUT all we got were a few sprinkles! I really couldn’t believe it. And we got soooo many sweet photos, I was just smiling the whole time editing these. What an honor to continue documenting this beautiful family - I can’t believe what a star V is, and I can’t wait for the next time I get them in front of my camera again!

They became husband and wife in the very same theater they became an official couple, and it really doesn’t get much cooler than that! This day was fullllll of so much laughter, love and nostalgia. I loved that they brought all of their favorite people together in such an iconic Madison venue that means so much to them. It was an honor to be there and to capture this amazing wedding day.

Olivia and Joe are big foodies and are always trying new places. One of their favorites is Lola’s Hi/Lo Lounge and they knew from our first call that they wanted to do engagement photos here! They weren’t sure how it would photograph, but when they mentioned it, I was immediately in. Luckily, when I reached out to Lola’s, they were beyond accommodating and I already can’t wait for another excuse to be back. We did some more outdoor photos downtown after this, but they headed back to Lola’s for dinner when we were done because, duh. More to come!
