Helios is a registered student organization at UW-Madison.
We work with both campus and Madison city officials to design and implement sustainability projects, specifically solar energy, on our campus. http://www.heliosuw.org/
Helios was founded as a registered student organization (RSO) by Sahil Verma and Zach Galvin in March 2017 at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Our mission is to make our campus more renewable, one building at a time, through engineering and planning of specific green projects. Our latest project was the planning and implementation of a solar array on the roof of Gordon Dining & Event Center: https://sustainability.wisc.edu/gordon-solar/
If you are interested in making a difference and joining our organization, find us at the next Org Fair or send us an email at [email protected]
