Arts for All Wisconsin

We had a great time sharing our free SPARK! program at the Caring Well event hosted by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Dane County and the Dementia Friendly Coalition of Madison at the Pinney Library, Madison Public Library. It was wonderful connecting with so many caregivers and providing insight into what our SPARK! program is able to offer our participants.

The artist in our day programs at Advanced Employment, Inc had a great time creating these colorful art pieces today! Our Teaching Artist Laura said that the artists were very excited with the background reveals with this low-pre and high-impact artistic creations. We're so glad to have a wonderful partner like Advanced Employment to work with!

Our newest adaptive dance class, Jazz Hands, is taking off! Janelle has been moving and grooving with our participants and having a great time.

What an incredible day celebrating the Madison Symphony Orchestra's Centennial Festival at the Overture Center for the Arts today! We curated a collection, "The Art of Music", specifically to celebrate this 100th anniversary, with art by Wisconsin artists with disabilities. It fills our hearts with joy to share this space with so many other creative organizations and artists. What a treat!

Summer Dance Showcase was an incredible night of magnificent performances! It was a night to share the immense talent and hard work that our dancers have cultivated throughout the year. We are so grateful to the additional community members who were able to join us on stage as well.

Due to the incoming inclement weather in Madison, Wisconsin, we will be cancelling our class Arts and Crafts with Dom for tonight, Thursday, June 11. We want to ensure everyone's safety, and with the potential for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms, we think it is best for everyone to stay home and inside.

The unexpected passing of Michael Johnson, President and CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, is deeply tragic. Michael was a force of nature who helped change many people's lives. Our sincerest condolences to all of his loved ones and everyone at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County.

Due to incoming severe weather, we have decided to cancel Creative Arts with Laura today, Wednesday, June 10.
