After 10 years of serving the community, it is with a heavy heart that I write this post. The past 2 years have been very trying times for us, and yet, we showed up and showed out- FOR THE CHILDREN. They matter. They will ALWAYS matter. However, you need to know when to hang it up, and sadly for the dogs and me, that time has come. I will be donating hundreds of books to community organizations that will benefit from them, as well as The Book Deal who have ALWAYS supported us. Again, this was not and easy decision, but it's time. Love and puppy kisses to you all.

Joey celebrated Chanukah with almost 40 kids last night at the Meadowood Neighborhood Center. First the kids read two Chanukah books and then Joey surprised them all with dreidels, chocolate coins (gelt) and instructions on how to play!!! Tables were filled with kids playing the traditional game of dreidel. Look at all those smiles!!!

Another shout out to Author Pat Zietlow Miller for always thinking of us whenever she writes a new book! Love that she sends copies for our permanent collection to share with others! Thank you Ms. Pat for being AMAZING!!!

Had a great day at the Sun Prairie Pride Fest, handing out free LGBTQ+ kids books! Can’t thank everyone enough for donating so many books from our Amazon Wish List—- everyone from childhood friends, family, FB friends that I haven’t even met, co-workers, and even my Internal Medicine doctor!! I can’t do any of this without you all! Thank you so much Love you all!!!
