After a distinguished health care career spanning more than four decades, including 10 years with WHA, Ann Zenk has announced her retirement, effective June 1, 2027.

“Serving WHA and its members has been one of the great privileges of my career,” Ann says. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together.”

We’re grateful for Ann’s leadership, advocacy and lasting impact on Wisconsin’s health care workforce.

WISCONSIN HOSPITALS LEAD THE NATION IN FIVE-STAR PATIENT EXPERIENCE RATINGS 🌟

Twenty-two Wisconsin hospitals earned five-star ratings for overall patient experience, tying Texas for the most in the country. These ratings reflect the voices of patients and families, recognizing hospitals where patients feel heard, respected, supported and confident in their care.

And this is just the latest national recognition for Wisconsin hospitals:
🏆 #1 in the nation for five-star nurse communication ratings
🏆 64% of Wisconsin hospitals earned four or five stars in CMS’ Overall Hospital Star Ratings, compared to about 42% nationally

Wisconsin hospitals continue to set the standard for quality care.
