Hello ARMS Volunteers and Friends,
Join us at Union South Prairie Fire area for a special ARMS event!
Monday, June 13th, 6-9 pm!
One of our ARMS volunteers, Zack Kemmerer has been competing on the show “American Ninja Warrior”. PhD student in Biochemistry by day, this warrior also mentors middle schoolers in science! He is using his moment of fame to help raise awareness of causes he supports - including ARMS. Please stop in and join us to celebrate science and Zack’s debut on the show!
Here is a preview of Zack’s Ninja (and science) skills: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GREhrsLJ6d4

Check out this article from Emerson Elementary's Family Science Night this spring! http://www.news.wisc.edu/20610
Science night fosters grade-schoolers’ natural curiosity (April 27, 2012) A delighted murmur – a hybrid of “Wow!” and “Whoa!” -- arises as an ultraviolet light illuminates the invisible traces of chemicals on a chromatography paper, and Dave Stevenson knows he’s done his job at Family Science Night at Emerson Elementary School on Madison’s east side.
