We are a week away from the 5th Annual Maehkīw Enāhpes-Red Dress event in Madison where we will unite in solidarity amplifying the voices of our families and uplifting the truths of our missing and murdered relatives.

You’re invited to join the UNA-USA Dane County Chapter of Madison, WI in their third annual Women’s Summit on May 2nd (this Saturday!) at the Christ Presbyterian Church, 944 E Gorham St.

This year’s theme is:
“The Digital Continuum of Violence Against Women: Why This Matters Now – Policy, Advocacy, and Community Responses.”

There will be an international market beginning at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend! There is no cost to attend the summit, and the event will begin with a complimentary international lunch.

Project Description: This project amplifies the voices of African immigrant mothers in the U.S., focusing on their experiences during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.

You’re invited! Join the FREE Movement for the 2026 FREE Summit on April 16th at the WYSO Building (1118 E Washington Ave, Madison). This will be a powerful day of community, learning, and movement building led by and centering directly impacted women.

FREE is a project led by criminal-legal system-impacted women in the state of Wisconsin, focusing on the gender-specific experiences and collateral consequences of interacting with the criminal legal system.

Tickets are $60. Alternative ticket prices include Free tickets available for directly impacted women and a Pay What You Can option available for anyone facing financial barriers
