Congratulations to our own Dr. Kenneth Herrmann for achieving such a great honor.
Dr. Kenneth Herrmann,
Congratulations! It is with great honor that I inform you of your election as a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association by the APA Board of Trustees, effective January 1, 2025. You join an elite group of psychiatrists who hold this honorary distinction have demonstrated exceptional contributions to the field of psychiatry and to your communities.
We cordially invite you to attend the Convocation of Distinguished Fellows on Monday, May 19, 2025, during the APA Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, California. This event will celebrate the achievements that you and the others in this class have made, and you will be presented with your official pin and medallion. Additional information about the Convocation will be provided in March.
Please note that you may proudly use this honorary title throughout your continued membership with the APA.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact us at [email protected].
Again, on behalf of myself, the APA Board of Trustees and your District Branch leadership, congratulations on this outstanding achievement and continued contributions to the field of psychiatry.
Sincerely,

More fun at Psychiatric Services, SC. April 22nd was Earth Day - the Clinicians and Staff had a reusable canvas bag decorating contest. It was so much fun and a joy to check out the talented artwork.
Staff and clients had the opportunity to vote on their favorites. # Two won the fan favorite, followed closely by #13. Great job everyone.

Did you know that last year we installed solar panels to power our office? Everyone at Psychiatric Services, SC cares about our planet. We make concerted efforts every day to be more environmentally friendly.
Something else we committed to in 2024 is composting our food and paper waste. We are making an effort to have as few plastics come into our office as possible.
In addition to these items, we are continually looking for other ways we can be better to our planet. What efforts do you take to make the world a better place?

WAY TO GO TEAM!! Collectively we walked over 779 miles in the month of September and Psychiatric Services, SC donated $1/mile to our NAMI walking team total! 🥳

Every year Psychiatric Services proudly supports (and has a team walk in) the NAMI Walk of Dane County.
This year we upped our involvement. During the month of September we are having an inner office fitness challenge. Psychiatric Services is going to make an additional donation to NAMI based on staff and clinicians’ total miles walked, ran, and biked. GO TEAM!!
