The tropics are officially starting to wake up.

Right now, there’s a low 10% chance of development in the southern Gulf over the next 7 days. At this point, there’s no reason for concern, but it serves as a reminder that we’re entering the time of year when keeping an eye on the tropics becomes part of the routine.

We’ll be watching it closely and will keep you updated as the week goes on. Stay informed, not alarmed.
