Last week, our team spent time with VAS customers from around the country, discussing the future of herd management software, the growing role of artificial intelligence in daily farm operations and what’s needed to take dairy management to the next level.
We’re grateful for the perspectives shared and are feeling energized and excited for what lies ahead!

Ever find yourself checking multiple systems trying to piece together the full picture?
Milk data in one place. Feed data in another. Health records somewhere else.
It works, but it also makes it difficult to truly understand what’s driving performance and profitability on your dairy. When your farm technologies are integrated, everything becomes easier. You can see how changes in one area, like ration consistency or dry matter intake, influence key profit drivers like milk production, reproduction and herd health. ⚙️✅

We’re excited to welcome two new members to our product management team! 🤝
Adam brings more than 22 years of experience across dairy data, farm consulting, government relations and product management. He also farms with his wife in Massachusetts, using data every day to guide herd management decisions and drive genetic improvement.
Jennifer brings a combination of scientific expertise, product leadership and real-world dairy experience. She holds a PhD in Animal Science and stays actively involved in the industry through leadership roles. She’s passionate about building data-driven tools that help dairy producers work more efficiently, profitably and sustainably.
While Adam and Jennifer are new to VAS, they’re certainly not new to the dairy industry. We couldn’t be happier to have them as part of the team. 👏

No two farms measure success the same way, which is why surfacing the right metrics for your dairy is so important.
BREDSUM has long been a trusted tool in DairyComp for tracking key reproduction metrics like services per conception and pregnancy rate. Paired with the flexibility of the Command Line, it also allows you to go beyond standard metrics – answering specific questions about your breeding program and uncovering deeper (sometimes otherwise unnoticed) trends in your data. 💪💡
Curious what’s hiding in your repro data? Give these 8 BREDSUM commands a try ➡️ https://hubs.ly/Q04fl1kh0
