VAS
The team behind DairyComp, building what’s next in connected herd and feed management.
For more than 40 years, VAS has been at the forefront of dairy innovation, starting with DairyComp, the industry’s first herd management software. Every day since then, we’ve woken up to support the people who feed the world, continuously raising the bar to meet the next generation of expectations. Today, DairyComp remains the leading dairy herd management solution, and VAS has become the partner
When people come together around a shared purpose, great things happen. 🤝
Recently, our team gathered in Madison, Wisconsin to spend time learning from producers and one another. Farm visits, producer conversations and collaborative discussions reinforced what unites us as a team – helping solve the challenges that matter most to the people we serve.
At VAS we’re united by a shared commitment to producers, and it's a responsibility that continues to guide our work every day.

We’re proud to welcome Ashley Brandel and Yadira Padilla to VAS this summer as farm performance consultant interns.
Ashley grew up on her family’s 150-cow registered Holstein farm, where she started showing cattle at local, state and national levels at a young age. Those early experiences helped her develop a lasting appreciation for the dairy industry and agriculture as a whole. This fall, she will begin her junior year at the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where she is studying dairy science with a minor in agricultural business.
Yadira is from California, where her passion for dairy started early – often tagging along with her dad to the dairy and helping with everything from pushing cows up for milking to feeding calves. During the school year, she works at the Cal Poly SLO University Dairy and is studying agricultural business with a dairy science minor.

To us, this view represents generations of grit, early mornings, long days and an unwavering commitment to the land, animals and communities they serve.
For 250 years, this country has been built by people who show up and put in the work for something bigger than themselves. We see that spirit every day in the American dairy farmer.
Happy Independence Day weekend from all of us at VAS. As a reminder, our offices are closed today, Friday, July 3 in observance of the holiday.
