We still alive

Hey everybody, just wanted to take a moment to update everybody on the band since we’ve been pretty quiet since our last show in June. The main reason is simply that our schedules haven’t allowed us to get in a room together the past 2 months and play (should be starting up again last weekend of August).

Got a lot to update on so buckle up!

First off, we’ve had a bit of a lineup shake-up and have returned to being a trio in the wake of our lead guitarist Connor Sheedy (pictured center) deciding to step down. There was no drama at all, we love Connor and wish him the best and greatly appreciate the contributions he made to the band in the months he spent with us. He’s a fantastic guitarist and person, and again the reasoning mostly came down to schedules and priorities in life. We are not actively seeking a new guitarist to take his place at this time, but if you read this and have interest give us a shout.

All that said, when we are able to reconvene the plan is to record our material because we have a ton of original songs and have recorded and shared almost nothing of them. The only way to know what we’re really like at the moment is to see us live. The live sets did at least show us that people like the music! We had a ton of fun playing those 3 shows in June and we’re excited to bring what we do to a wider audience! The current plan is to record a few EPs and get those out pretty quickly, hopefully at least one of them out by the end of fall.

A note about this weekend: We had originally intended to play this weekend’s tribute to tech at The Annex as Green Day, but given our recent scheduling difficulties (and health, long story) we backed out of it as soon as we realized it wasn’t going to be feasible to put a set together. You may still see us on some of the promotion for the show, but take it from me directly that regretfully we won’t be performing. Still, our very own Lord of the 4-Strings, George LaBlonde IV, will be doing his best Joey Ramone impression as part of The PheRamones. They fu***ng rule, and I intend to still be there rocking in the crowd.

Come get some Sunday fun in a couple weeks and give a big warm welcome to our new lead guitarist Connor Sheedy! We have a boatload of kickass new material to share. We're looking forward to getting back out there, hope to see you there :)

Coming out of winter hibernation to rock at the Come Back In open mic tonight!
