On Thursday, Assembly Bill 657 was officially signed into law and became 2025 Wisconsin Act 165!

This legislation creates a sales and use tax exemption for qualified nuclear fusion projects, helping position Wisconsin at the forefront of emerging energy technologies and drive innovation.

I’m proud to have authored this bill and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our state’s energy future and economic growth!

WISCEF applauds the PSC's recent approval of Porchlight Solar in Portage County. This new project will generate 164 MW of clean energy and include 50 MW of battery storage, further reducing Wisconsin's dependence on out-of-state and foreign energy sources.

Wisconsin Nuclear Energy Day — Wisconsin Conservative Energy Forum All sessions will take place in the North Hearing Room at the Wisconsin State Capitol. This event is free and open to the public. Please register so we can anticipate attendance.

REPORT: There are more than 75,000 Wisconsinites working in the clean energy industry! The report shows clean energy jobs up by 2% in 2024, outpacing the region’s overall economy which only grew by half of a percent last year.
