Thank you to the leaders who championed advancements in nuclear policy this session!

On Thursday, Assembly Bill 657 was officially signed into law and became 2025 Wisconsin Act 165!

This legislation creates a sales and use tax exemption for qualified nuclear fusion projects, helping position Wisconsin at the forefront of emerging energy technologies and drive innovation.

I’m proud to have authored this bill and look forward to the positive impact it will have on our state’s energy future and economic growth!

The vote on my bill for expanding Nuclear Power in Wisconsin was 86-11!

Porchlight Solar Approved by PSC - RENEW Wisconsin 12/18/2025

WISCEF applauds the PSC's recent approval of Porchlight Solar in Portage County. This new project will generate 164 MW of clean energy and include 50 MW of battery storage, further reducing Wisconsin's dependence on out-of-state and foreign energy sources.

Porchlight Solar Approved by PSC - RENEW Wisconsin On Thursday, December 4, 2025, the PSC approved Porchlight Solar, a 163.8 Megawatt (MW) solar project paired with a 50 MW battery!

Clean Jobs Midwest 10/21/2025

REPORT: There are more than 75,000 Wisconsinites working in the clean energy industry! The report shows clean energy jobs up by 2% in 2024, outpacing the region’s overall economy which only grew by half of a percent last year.
