AAMC released the scoring scale for MCAT 2015. Each of the four sections on MCAT 2015 will be scored 118 - 132, for a total possible score of 528. The mean is expected to be 125 per section for total mean score of 500. The first administration of the new MCAT will be in April 2015.

Join AMSA for two great events this weekend!

FRIDAY: Help us take on the fight against cancer! We will be participating in the Madison's Relay for Life event at the Shell from 6pm Friday night till 6am Saturday morning! Everyone is encouraged to join our team or if unable to make the event, donate to our team at www.relayforlife.org!

SATURDAY: AMSA is going to the Brewers Game! We encourage all members (roommates and friends included!) to cheer on the Brewers with us! Ticket, travel (to and from Milwaukee), and food will all be included for just $20! We will be leaving Madison about ~2pm to tailgate before hand and the game starts at 6:10!

Well you're in luck! AMSA is fostering the union of fun and productivity with a study social followed by a movie (Patch Adams or Gifted Hands: the Ben Carson Story - pending debate/vote) in the Tripp Commons of Memorial Union from 7-10pm (movie starting at 8:30pm) tonight!

Hey AMSA,

As a reminder, tonight is the Last General Assembly / Physician-in-Training series in 132 Noland Hall from 8:00 - 9:00PM.

The speaker is Dr. Edward Bersu, from the Anatomy department at UW-Madison! His talk is entitled, "The life of one basic scientist at UW-Madison Medical School."

We will also have a cookie exchange in addition to pizza, so please bring cookies/baked goods and wear a christmas sweater! It is the last chance to pay your semester/year dues. You will also have a chance to hear about upcoming AMSA events and pick up your awesome AMSA T-shirt!
