🍽️ Food was shared. ❤️ Hearts were encouraged. Community was built.

Last night’s MLK Day Sunday Supper brought us together for a time of reflection, prayer, and conversation about faith, justice, and how we carry Dr. King’s message forward today.

We are grateful for this community! A community that is that willing mive toward the Beloved Community ✨🤝.

Happy MLK Day!

As many of you have heard, SNAP benefits (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) are set to end on November 1st due to the government shutdown. SNAP provides food assistance to millions of Americans — and simply put, when these benefits stop, many people living in America, including right here in our own community, will face hunger.

Our partners at the Lincoln Elementary School Food Pantry have reached out to us for help. They’re asking for gift card donations for Metro market to support families who may suddenly find themselves without enough food.

We have the opportunity to step up and show the love of Christ in a real way. We’re asking our Chapter members to give whatever they can — every contribution truly makes a difference.

You can help in any of the following ways:
1. Give cash directly to Will Holt at church.
2. Donate a $20–$50 Metro Market gift card (also give directly to Will Holt).
3. Give online through our Chapter’s Kindful link:
Visit: https://tinyurl.com/HOPEwwMadison
“Please designate a U.S. Chapter,” type “Madison.”

This is one small but real way we can come together to ensure no family in our community goes hungry. Our donations WILL put food on the plates of families in our community.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat… Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:35, 40
