Congratulations to alumnus Marcus Alston (MBA '19) on receiving the WSB BOLD Award!

This award is to recognize Badgers of the last decade (BOLD) who have achieved outstanding professional accomplishments in their field since graduation.

Alston is a co-founder of the nonprofit DreamVest, which created an endowed scholarship to help adult students complete college and skilled trade professional certification programs.

Additionally, Alston works as a senior people partner at Cisco and serves as head of HR for Cisco's AI software and platform business.

Congratulations to alumnus Kurt Kober (MBA '07), one of four recipients of the WSB Impact Award!

The award recognizes individuals who have volunteered their time and talent to advance the Wisconsin School of Business, and have demonstrated a track record of service to the school.

Throughout his roughly 20-year relationship with WSB, Kober has given his expert perspectives and insights at events like Badger Executive Talks and Planet, People, Profit: Careers in Corporate Sustainability. He also became an active partner and mentor with UW-Madison's Tech Exploration Lab.
