These students at the Food For Free School Market at West Somerville Neighborhood School were so excited to spot fresh mangos they couldn’t wait to dig right in.

These moments remind us of the direct impact community support can have — putting fresh, joyful, nourishing food directly into kids’ hands. 🥭✨

TORNADO RECOVERY: Thank you to the band Yellowcard for donating a truckload of food to us this month. It couldn’t come at a better time. We’re helping first responders and residents of Lake County, Indiana, who just experienced an F2 tornado with 200 homes and businesses damaged. Today, we’re working quickly between storms to give a truckload of Gatorade, water, and meals to first responders.

And we’re continuing to give meals away on tour to kids at home this summer missing school meals in Boston and Philadelphia.

Grammy winner YUNGBLUD generously donated a truckload of food to us this week with his concert in Boston. That’s right… a concert fed kids in need.
1 in 3 kids in New England don’t always have enough food. And a music artist used his concert to put healthy food right in a neighborhood where children and families can receive it. That’s an amazing concept. 🙏

Summer time!! 🎶 Kids are out of school and many are without school meals for two months.

With support from touring music artists, we recently donated food distributions in Georgia, Texas, and Florida.

We team up with mobile pantries to bring fresh fruits, veggies, and lunches right to neighborhoods sidewalks!

Congratulations to our donor Cody Johnson on winning the biggest award of the night - ACM - Academy of Country Music Entertainer Of The Year. Cody has donated food distributions with us helping kids in need. Music makes the world better!
