Forward Fighter, Jose, brings home another win for the team! He dug deep for this fight as it was his 5th fight in a one month period. Taking a fight a few weeks after the TBA Tourney takes real grit and composure. Jose kept to the game plan, and still got to throw in some spinning elbows! Thank you Prime Fight Promotions for the opportunity to fight. Thank you to Chicago Thai Boxing Academy fighter, Kacper! We always appreciate the fighters that step into the ring with us, and Kacper stepped in ready and prepared for a good fight.

After every tourney, Brendon and I reflect on our favorite moments. My answer is always the same: the togetherness, the team camaraderie, and the people I get to share this adventure with. There is nothing else like it!

This was a record-breaking tourney for Forward Fighters. Here are the stats for Forward Fighters Ben, Gage, Jacobo and Jose, and our guest fighter Meghan:

5 fighters checked in on Wednesday; 5 fighters fought their way to the Championship Round on Sunday. No walkovers.

1 gold and 4 silver medals, with an overall 10-4 bout record.

4 TKO’s. First ever fourth round. Fastest TKO.

Forward now has two back-to-back tourney champs: first Clark and now Jacobo.

We are proud of this team (and all Forward Fighters)! Each had tough fights and earned every second they were in the ring. It is an honor to coach the Forward Fighters. They put in the hours building strong bodies, game planning and perfecting their technique. They grind together and they shine together!

Adding to that, it is an honor to be trusted by another coach and fighter to corner and support that fighter during a tourney. Thank you Shane and Meghan, for placing that trust in Team Forward.

Thank you to the athletic supporters who traveled with us and to those who supported us from afar watching the livestream. We can’t do it without you! The friends we make along the way are essential to help celebrate the wins and help process the losses. No fighter travels this road alone; they always have their friends and teammates by their side.

At the helm, Kru Brendon! We couldn’t do this without him. He brings so much knowledge to his coaching. This guy never quits, always reflecting, always studying, always striving to be the best coach for his fighters. He is constantly game planning for each fighter so they have the best fight experience. He trains fighters in a way that is safe, science-based, and focused on developing smart, strong fighters.

Welcome to the team Gage and Leo! We are so excited to announce that these two have joined the Forward instruction team. These two are great instructors with so much to offer their students; great technique and fight IQ knowledge. Gage will be teaching the Muay Thai Basics classes on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Leo gets the Sunday lineup, offering two Muay Thai All Levels classes, one in English and one in Spanish! 🔥🔥🔥
