Another Look Past

With back to school in full swing, why not update your workspace? This MCM desk and chair combo is looking for a new home!

A pretty hint of color on this MCM desk and chair ✨

I saw a picture on social media of a simple, stained table paired with chairs that didn’t necessarily go with it. I loved it, and wanted to recreate it for my own house. So I found a table, then I found the chairs. I stripped and stained it a darker color. It’s a little smaller than our original table, so I’m going to leave it for a day or two and decide whether to keep it or sell it. Regardless, I love the way it turned out!

Bonus - the table plus the chairs only cost me $40 total on FB marketplace!

This is a very solid, heavy, antique dresser! I went back to a technique I started with when I began refinishing. Farmhouse style is still alive and well!

Vanities are my favorite! I added depth to the deep blue-gray paint with a smoky glaze to highlight the details on this antique piece.

I love vanities and will never pass up a chance to work on one! I went with a dark glaze to add depth and dimension to the deep blue-gray color on this antique piece.

Decided to go back to the style I started with years ago. Farmhouse, shabby chic will always be a go-to!

I had the privilege of refinishing this dresser for a mom-to-be to go in her nursery for her baby boy due later this year! She wanted something big and heavy, so I found this one that would need a bit of redesigning. I was able to refinish it in a way that completely transformed it into something that they can use for many years.

Here are a few of my favorite pieces I’ve done over the years. I’ve even kept a few for my own house. 😊
I love finding antiques that are in bad shape cosmetically, so the best scenario is to paint them…especially vanities!

It’s been a while! I took an old cabinet that was tucked away in our office and refinished it for our living room. 💙
