Yahara Software

Please join us in welcoming Alexis-Rose Fischer to the Yahara team! Alexis-Rose joins us as a Project Coordinator 1, and is excited to use her skills to help our team make a real-world impact. Outside of work, Alexis-Rose is a big fan of reading, writing, and spending time outside.

We're excited to have you on the team, Alexis-Rose!

At Yahara Software, we care deeply about community. That's why we're a proud sponsor of the Goodman Community Center Backpack Drive! This drive helps give students in the Madison area access to essential school supplies.

If you want to join us in supporting the cause, you can donate at: https://hubs.ly/Q04ty0pp0

We recently held our annual company picnic, where each year we host a raffle for amazing baskets donated by our team. We love giving back to our community, which is why the raffle is also a fundraiser for the Goodman Community Center's backpack drive.

We're extremely happy with how this year's picnic went, and we're thankful for everyone's hard work in making it happen!

Like how AI is trained on our language, protein language models are trained by reading the molecular structure of proteins. They spot dangerous patterns that could signal the next major outbreak.

Yahara Software's James Smagala is breaking it all down in our upcoming Yahara Live session. Reserve your seat before it fills up at: https://hubs.ly/Q04lMDqr0

Giving back is core to who we are at Yahara. Here's what we've been up to lately:
🎓 At Memorial High School's job fair, talking to students about what a career in software actually looks like. We love to help inspire the next generation to get involved in computer science!
🌱 At the Forward Garden with the Madison Area Food Pantry Garden, getting their hands in the dirt planting food that goes directly to families in Madison who need it.

Great marketing doesn't just tell a story — it makes people feel something. Shelby Moyer gets that.

That's why this month's Employee Spotlight goes to Shelby, our Senior Marketing Specialist, who came in and got to work building marketing pieces that truly stand out. Creative, polished, and giving our marketing game a whole new energy.

Congratulations, Shelby — we're happy you have you on the team!

Each month, we award an Employee Spotlight to a team member who did exceptional work. Join us in celebrating our recent winner: Michael Tang!

Since joining us at Yahara Software, Michael has made a real impact on his project. In only a few months at the company, Michael was fully involved in his project, learning fast and making a real impact that everyone involved acknowledged and appreciated.

Congratulations again, Michael!

At Yahara Software, our goal is to make the world a better place. That includes giving the next generation of developers the mentorship, perspective, and hands-on exposure that can shape the trajectory of a career. That's why we recently welcomed a group of students for a job shadow experience! They spent time with our team, asked great questions, and got a real look at what it means to build software that matters.

Join us in welcoming Joshua Watrous to the Yahara team! Joshua brings several years of software development experience and is eager to dive into meaningful, challenging work with a great team. Outside of work, you can find him lifting, fishing, biking, or gaming.

We're excited to have you on the team, Joshua!

We're thrilled to welcome Zeke Witter to the Yahara team! Zeke brings experience as a front end engineer, full stack engineer, tech lead, and more, and is passionate about applying that expertise to projects that make a real difference. Outside of work, he's an avid ultimate frisbee player and coaches the Madison U20 boys' ultimate frisbee team.

Please join us in giving Zeke a warm welcome!
