This past week we have had some very special things happen.

So thankful for this opportunity to share our story of what we’re doing with our nonprofit!
BIG things Happening while God takes the lead.
Every story has a purpose 🙌🏻❤️

Today we had the opportunity to meet and interview with Rick Negron. 🎥

Rick is over the film department at Belhaven where his role takes place being a film producer + teacher that teaches about the film industry.

He received a grant this year to do a story on someone or a group of people doing good for Mississippi as a state. His wife is a school teacher and reached out on a page asking others who would be interested and several friends tagged our Nonprofit.

Rick looked us up, read our book, and called me to ask if he could do the documentary on us. We are so thankful for the word of mouth and so many sharing our information!

He will be putting a film together that we did today to share in a public theatre for another way to get the word out about our nonprofit and to help those that serve in the US along with their families. Thank you, Rick! ❤️

Life can be hard when we go thru ups and downs, loss and love. Remember you are beautiful no matter what, you are loved and this is just a moment in time if it’s a hard time for you today. Tomorrow is a new day! 🙏🏻
Give yourself the love you need to keep going.
We all need different things.
Allow yourself this, and watch the growth you get for you.❤️

We had a very special day last Saturday. Mission vigilant book was the Winner of a Notable Book that was Best Nonfiction, self published. This for sure was all God.
Sherye Green and I got a chance to meet so many other authors and hear about their stories they wrote and all the states they came from for the day.
After the awards we all had a chance to be interviewed on what the stories meant to us.

Just for Sherye Green and I to be nominated is an honor and extremely exciting. To know so many are hearing about our Michael but most of all hearing this story, that it’s happening in so many peoples lives. I talk to so many and hear they have a friend or family member lost to Su***de. So heavy.
But the ones that give everything to serve us and are struggling….I’m willing to keep helping them with ways Mission Vigilant-For the 22 can help in our state.
Thank you to so many for helping us share the awareness of this terrible problem.
I miss you everyday Michael and if we can help another know there is help, life tools, that you are loved, that we need you, to please Hold on so we can help you the right way, then I’m willing to share my story whenever I can and walk beside you.

We never know what impact we or others can have when meeting. ♥️

Tamara helped Conner in so many ways but also after meeting and sharing my story - she held a fundraiser for our Mission in honor of Michael. God used her friendship with me to connect and share my passion with others and I’m so grateful for that.

We find out Feb. 10th who the winner is but just to be nominated….mind blowing🙌🏻❤️

This makes me happy
It gives me peace
My heart puffs up a little
The love I feel as I read this is so BIG.

When you read it how does it make you feel?

The first face I’ll see…all the HOPE.
I can hold on till it’s my time to join, and that day will be so glorious!
