I am so thankful to be a member of the Cure Local Women's Collective. I've always wanted to be part of a community that makes a REAL difference, and I finally found my "home". These women are generous, inviting, compassionate and kind - just to list a few.
We had an amazing day yesterday at our 1st Cure Local Women's Collective grant delivery. The recipient was Felicia's Donation Closet. This AMAZING organization helps furnish homes for survivors of domestic abuse and their children in Dane County. It was very heartwarming to witness Felicia's acceptance. Her appreciation and compassion left me with chills and 'maybe' a few tears. Congratulations, Felicia!
If you, or anyone you know, would like to make a REAL difference in our community, check out the Cure Local link below or reach out to me. I'd love for you to join me at an upcoming gathering! Within minutes of my first event, I knew it was a perfect fit for me.

Based on the number of life insurance ads you get on a daily basis, you may think this is all financial professionals think about…
And I’ll be honest, I believe life insurance is vital to a stable financial strategy. But that’s not because I love to remind my clients of their mortality. (I actually hate that part of it.)
The reason it’s important is because it is one of the bricks of your financial foundation that makes everything else possible.
Once you cover your risk, you get to put your thoughts and dollars toward POTENTIAL instead of PROBABILITY.
I became a financial advisor for this potential.
For most of our lives, it feels like money controls us.
It affects the jobs we accept, where we live, the trips we take and don’t take, and how we feel when we open a bill.
Then in retirement everything is supposed to shift. The things we worked toward all our life get to become our reality!
But it’s hard to turn off that money as master mindset in ourselves…
I want something different for my clients. I want them to experience confidence in their finances *today*.
This doesn’t mean losing discipline when it comes to finance, but it does mean putting money back in its place as the servant. It means stating goals, creating strategies to reach them, and still enjoying life along the way.
There’s no such thing as a generic person.
So why do we settle for generic financial goals?
Not only is your current situation unique and complex, but the vision you have for the future is up to YOUR values and YOUR definition of success.
If you need help not only naming your goals, but also defining why they matter, I’d love to set up a time to talk about what really matters in your life!
