Go bold! With our finish palette being more minimal, it allowed us to have some fun and adventurous pops of color in the furniture and decor. custom area rug strike-offs just arrived for and we are loving the colors and pattern!

From having studs delivered earlier this week to framing going up today, is moving fast! It’s great to already see the shapes and flow that this space is going to have.

Hey there - its been a minute! The first two months of 2021 have been packed full already. After lots of hard work I’m happy to say that we are kicking off construction for . So excited to see this project come to life!

Layering textures, materials and pattern is a great way to give a design dimension and bring it to life. You can find this in many mid-century modern designs which means I’ve found lots of Monday inspiration through exploring pictures from our last trip to Palm Springs.

Inspiration this Monday is taking us back to - 6 months into quarantine and the travel itch is REAL. The lobby here continues to fuel ideas for me. My designs tend to have a neutral color palette and I love that in this lobby the pop of color is the greenery. It is natural and fits in a space so effortlessly 🌿

It’s all in the details! I live for when detail is put into every aspect of a design. Something as simple as a floor transition can make everything come together and feel meaningful.

As the first project for kicks off, I’m already brainstorming fun and unique details that can be incorporated in its design.

INSPIRATION MONDAY - Hawaii is my happy place, it is a place where I find peace, my mind can refocus and I can discover lots of new ideas. This is another meaning behind why I chose the name Kalea, whose origins are rooted in Hawaii and Polynesia.

One of my favorite places to stay is - from the clean modern island design to amazing food and views this hotel can be an inspiration in many ways! @ Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort
