Sidereal got it's start in 1992 when a group of UW Madison students, sick of the area's limited ska and retro-70's music scene decided to do something about it.

Recording this new song was quite a different experience than the Sidereal songs recorded over 30 years ago, when we were all in the basement or studio space together. But nonetheless the connection was still there albeit remotely.
After a brief 30 year hiatus Sidereal is back with their first new recording release “hopeless place”. Coming April 3rd!

What?? 32 years later and in 2025 our music is being listened to in 38 countries, with our tracks added 359 times to playlists, and a 17% follower growth. 🤯🤯🤓. Thanks for releasing Barrette after all these years at the end of 2022 and kick starting Sidereal back up again for one more set! And big thanks for anyone giving our music a listen in the 2020’s!
