📣Calling all creative kiddos! We are hosting our inaugural Young Crafters Fair this August and we are on the lookout for some amazing talent to showcase! 👩‍🎨

🖼 A huge part of The Curious Crafter's mission has been to cultivate a creative community while giving artists and makers a space to share their gifts with others. So we want to highlight our youngest creators at this event on Sunday, August 16th from Noon-3pm! If you have a kiddo who make some pretty cool crafts *and* wants to make a little Summer fun money, we'd love to have them apply. And did we mention that spots are FREE? Because they are!

🐶 🎂 Today has been a busy one, but we would be absolutely regretful (because she would yell at us) if we neglected to wish our wonderful, sassy, strict, treat-loving CEO Sora the Shop Dog a very happy golden birthday today! Her adventurous “Sora the Explorer” spirit and general nosiness definitely keep us on our toes and add so much excitement to our lives.

🦴If you want to come give her some celebratory pats and love, join us on Sunday for Sora's 4th Birthday Celebration & Fundraiser! Lots of fun crafts, deals on merch, and proceeds (and toys and treats!) going to the Dane County Humane Society!

👯 Adults - this one's for you! Join us for a variety of unique Adults' Night Out Events throughout the month of June! Grab the besties, a group of coworkers, or even your special someone and come get crafty!

🌸 This Wednesday, we are hosting a whimsical Pressed Flower Sun Catcher Workshop with Prismatica Glass! Only a couple spots remain for this workshop led by Molly of Prismatica Glass!

🔥 On Tuesday, June 9th, join us for an exciting Spring Wood Burning Workshop with Prettyful Creations! With Gauri of Prettyful Creations at the helm, try your hand at hand burning a set of Bamboo Garden Stakes or Kitchen Utensils!

🧶 To close out the month, we will be hosting a fun Pride Month Hanging Yarn Art Workshop at Delta Beer Lab! Enjoy a pint (or two) of Delta Beer Lab's brews (first one is included with your registration!) while learning how to create your one-of-a-kind colorful wall hanging!

🫶🏽 What a wonderful, community-filled day we’ve been lucky enough to have! On the Westside, we were honored to be a part of NAMI Dane County’s “Strong Minds Strong Communities” event, where we brought these moments of positivity for participants to color and display.

🛍️ And on the Eastside, we got to celebrate the first night of Capitol View Farmers' Market with Anna and Elias and their amazing origami skills! If you missed that, no fret - come to their Summer Origami Workshop on June 26th!

🤩 Madison never ceases to amazing. We are always so inspired by you all - it truly keeps us going!

🖌 With Summer Break right around the corner, we are getting amped for our Weeklong Craft Camps for our 7-14 year old makers (still a handful of spots remain)! But if you have younger kiddos looking for some creative fun, we are introducing Summer Daytime Crafts with Kiddos!

🎨 All throughout June - August, we will be hosting these fun workshops geared to our youngest artists and their adult. Each session is only $10 and takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete, so stop by at any point from 11am - 1pm to dive into your project! We will also have our many other drop-in projects to choose from if you want to make your Crafternoon even longer!
