Small business owners and nonprofits who got hit by the April 2026 storms, there’s new help available that just came out.

Green Lake, Fond du Lac, Adams and Columbia counties can apply for Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury Disaster Loans. This is new assistance to help with the economic impact from those storms.

Last Tuesday I toured the Hy-Vee Grocery Store right here in the district and was honored to receive the “Friend of Grocers” award from Wisconsin Grocers Association

Governor Evers has refused to turn over Wisconsin's SNAP recipient list to the federal government. This is a taxpayer-funded program and we should be able to audit the rolls to ensure there is no fraud.

It has been found that illegal aliens have defrauded millions in SNAP benefits from different states, and even dead people have been found on the rolls. We should be able to audit the rolls of taxpayer-funded benefits, what is Governor Evers hiding?

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July, Wisconsin!

Today we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary of independence.

This weekend America celebrates our 250th anniversary! Here are a list of a few local firework shows across the 39th Assembly District.

Visited the Operating Engineers Training Center in Coloma on Tuesday. Great tour of their hands-on training facilities preparing Wisconsin workers for skilled trades careers in heavy equipment and construction.

Yesterday, the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program ended because legislative Democrats failed to negotiate ways to make the program better through reauthorization.

In 2024, the Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned statutes that gave the Joint Committee on Finance oversight authority over the money the legislature funded for the program. Due to that decision, and the reauthorization deadline, Assembly Republicans voted for Assembly Bill 315 and Assembly Bill 612 without a single Democrat supporting reauthorization. I voted in favor of both of these bills to keep the program going. It was a compromise that would have continued the program while also protecting the Legislature’s constitutional power over spending.

However, the truth is legislative Democrats were all or nothing. They would have rather have seen the program end than negotiate legislation that would have kept it going. While I am disappointed legislative Democrats could not work in a bipartisan way to reauthorize the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program, I am hopeful the program can continue in the future.
