Getting High with Tory

I was excited to watch these feats of technology come to their new base at Truax field. The 115th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard has the mission to, "dominant combat airpower and provide agile support for domestic operations". Although news of the planes coming to Madison created controversy for issues such as loudness, they appeared no louder than the F-16s previously stationed here in my opinion.

I did not know that Air Force One is a 757 now!

Finally took a crack at editing a video. This flight was a lot of fun and probably would never happen in real life. I flew through the Bixby Bay Bridge (that one in Top Gun) in near zero visibility conditions, with a LOT of wind, and nailed it!

1. Carrier take-off San Francisco.
2. Climb out over that big storm at 31k.
3. Rapid descent over Carmel Bay. It is WINDY!
4. Missed bridge because I didn't turn autopilot off.
5. Fly through bridge and roll. Climb to 43,000 (bad weather).
6. Get denied VFR at China Lake.
7. Get close enough to request VFR and land at China Lake.
