What’s the arrow on the wedge?? The arrow should point to the jam side. This orientation gives the Adz a perfect prying surface to increase your spread on the door without decreasing mechanical advantage.

Quick size comparison with our 30” and our 24”. If you work in a predominantly residential (suburban) area or run as an officer, the 24” is a nice option and you still have the pulling function from the wide fork.
Just the fundamentals! Learning the bread and butter movements on a good prop.
The Fork You Didn’t Know You Needed
Notice in this confined space it was necessary to have the Adz driven all the way so there was room to work the halligan. Also the pick came in handy for the final push. This was a wood and partial board door in a metal frame.
3 locks, 3 moves… this was a solid wood door in an aluminum frame. The door stop bent but did not completely fail. The first Adz roll defeated the key in k**b lock, the second (using the Adz wedge) defeated the deadbolt and the third defeated the hotel latch (pivoting arm lock).
