Because one just isn’t enough! Hound It Down Bakery provides custom, homemade, small batch baked goods. It's run by Yvette Mikhail.
She enjoys tweaking and testing recipes scientifically until she reaches the best version (for her) that she can of each item. So if there's something a person wants and she doesn't already make it, please contact her as she's always looking to try to come up with something new! The story behind the bakery name is that Yvette has always loved Basset Hounds. She had a dog that was part Basset Hound as a child, and ever since then she has wanted one! Her husband Andrew and her adopted their first Basset named Maisy in 2013. They are self-proclaimed Basset enthusiasts!
**I’ll be back at the Northside Farmers Market tomorrow (Sunday 9/27/26) morning!** It’s been about a month since I was last there. And there will be cinnamon knots available! Along with stuffed cookies, cake pops, and more! Hope to see you there!

I’m super excited and grateful that I placed second in the dessert category at Taste of Taste!!! I LOVE Taste of Madison (and Taste of Taste)! I look forward to it all year, and I can’t wait to serve up some stuffed cookies and cake pops to everyone! Pumped!
