Here’s an article that I wrote this time last year about Dandelion. I feel it needs reviving, because I truly believe that it’s my mission to share the awesomeness of this very misunderstood, but super nutritious and resilient plant! It’s so resilient in fact, that it can grow and thrive in the most unlikely of places. You can mow it, pick it, try to dig up its deep roots, and spray it with chemicals, but guess what? It continually bounces right back up! Always growing towards the light. What does this tell us about dandelion's healing medicine? Well, let me tell ya, just the dandelion's flower essence qualities for supporting us emotionally; helps to build strength and resilience, we are able to stand tall and unwavering in our life, and it allows us to feel deeply rooted within ourselves. That’s pretty cool for a humble w**d, wouldn’t you say?

One of the great things about Reiki, is that it is not restricted by distance. Reiki can be sent anywhere in the world and is just as effective as if you were on my treatment table in person. Neat, huh? It really is perfect for where we are right now with social distancing and not being able to get together in person. I am able to help support you in your home, from my home. While I was waiting in the store checkout line, the woman in front of me said, “The flowers you chose are very pretty. I’m sure the recipient will be pleased to get them.” I replied, “I’m certain she will love them, because that recipient is me. Sometimes you gotta buy yourself some flowers, you know?” She smiled and said, “I love that! It’s so very European.”

I absolutely LOVE Apothecaries and Colorado has some awesome ones! This one right here is one of my favorites and since my husband is from CO, I get to go back every year or two to see family. This trip I scheduled a healing session that was all kinds of magic and incredibly profound! Ceremonial Botanical Bodywork with Megan Anderson-Kelly. She, my friends, is a gifted energy worker! My session with her included Reiki, plant spirit medicine, crystals, and her beautiful intuitive guidance. She provided a safe and supportive space so I was able to do some deep healing work. Words cannot describe the amazing-ness of what her session with me embodied.
And the Apothecary.... is incredible and everything you could ever need in an Apothecary. If you are in the area and you, like me, love Apothecaries, then make sure this one is on your list. Another awesome one to check out if you are in Boulder, is . This one will not disappoint either. I wish we had had time to get up into the mountains this trip.😔
