This Midwest Catchers Academy is geared toward catchers who dream of one day playing at the collegiate level.
All catchers are pushed to get better at the physical and mental components of the game. Jerry Brown Coach JB) has coached baseball for over 20 years. Jerry has coached many age groups including Division 1 Collegiate as the catcher coach for Eastern Michigan University, High school as a head coach for West Bloomfield and Detroit Pershing as well as a Head assistant for Birmingham Groves High Schoo

Catchers!!! If you're interested in a unique opportunity to enhance your catching skills to start your 2024 year, A four-week CATCHERS BOOTCAMP can be a fantastic way to sharpen your technique and improve your overall performance on the field. Whether you're a seasoned catcher looking to hone your abilities or a newcomer eager to learn the ropes, this bootcamp could offer valuable insights and training.
You can expect to jump into various aspects of catching, including stance, framing, blocking, throwing, game management, and more. With current and ex-college coaches and focused practice, participants often find themselves making significant strides in their abilities over the course of the program.
Beyond the technical aspects of catching, our bootcamp will also provide valuable lessons on leadership, communication, and teamwork – all essential qualities for a successful catcher on the baseball field.
