Two Notes to Update our Fans -

1. The Reverend Ron Spencer Red, White and Blue Classic is July 11th.
2. Race number two of the 51FIFTY Jr Late Model Series that was filmed in May is now set to air on the Racer TV Network on Monday June 15th.

The drivers in the 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series have been busy racing around the country before they return this Saturday for round three at Madera Speedway!

Brexton Busch finished second in INEX Legends during the Summer Shootout at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Keatin Lyons scored a pair of podium finishes in CRUSA Dirt Late Model action last weekend in the Midwest.

Mason Blodgett scored a quick-time and third place finish in Youth Hornet racing at Evergreen Speedway.

Sydney Stromska finished on the podium in Western States NASCAR Youth Series racing.

LATE MODEL EXCITEMENT RETURNS TO MADERA SPEEDWAY FOR RACE THREE ON JUNE 13

Race fans are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy a summer of motorsports kicking off this Saturday night at Madera Speedway with third round of the RACER Network-televised 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series and Mission Pro Late Model Series at the fastest one-third mile in the west. Both divisions will race in 70-lap features plus INEX Legends and INEX Bandoleros scheduled to race.

Main events begin at 6pm with the 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model race green flag slated for approx. 8pm. Adult tickets are just $20, seniors and military are $15, youth ages 6-12 are $10 and kids five and under are free. All tickets will be sold at the track ticket booth.

Race fans can “Join” www.YouTube.com/ShortTrackTV for $19.99 per month for a members-only live stream as well. The races will be televised at a later date on RACER Network.

Through two races for the 51FIFTY Jr. Late Model Series, the drivers ages 10-16 years old have thrilled crowds with two exciting first-time winners. Georgia’s Lane Christensen dominated his series debut in the season opener for a coveted victory. The winner of the Madera Jr. Late Model Combine then led jumped ahead of the pack to lead most of the laps in the second race of the season. Washington’s Jaxon Burnett ultimately prevailed, taking the lead on a thrilling restart with just five laps remaining. Burnett then outfoxed Brexton Busch in a green-white-checkered finish for his breakthrough trip to victory lane.

Christensen’s performances have him leading the standings by nine points over Illinois rookie Keatin Lyons. Washington’s Hunter Gates ranks third followed by Busch and California’s Jarrett Dickson. Alaska’s Wyatt Flowers and Washington’s Mason Blodgett are also within 16 points of the lead in a razor tight battle for supremacy among the top-seven contenders.

The young drivers compete in a 70-lap feature under the lights on Saturday night, starting with a 40-lap opening segment followed by a break for adjustments and RACER Network interviews. A 30-lap race to the finish determines the winner.

An opening night win has been enough to preserve the points lead for Mike Hensley of Bass Lake in the Mission Pro Late Model Series. Hensley paired the win with a fifth place finish in May to build his championship leading resume. Hensley is tied with Jason Aguirre of Atwater in the standings, following Aguirre’s second place finish in round two. Round two winner Shaun Reynolds of Coarsegold is third in the standings, followed by veteran driver Rick Thompson of Fresno and Alaska’s Hunter Maier. 2024 Madera Late Model champion Trevor Schlundt of Clovis ranks sixth.

The Mission Pro Late Models will face a new challenge on Saturday night with a non-stop 70-lap feature around the speedway.

INEX Legends and INEX Bandoleros are also on tap.

Saturday pit gates open at 1:30pm with the drivers meeting at 3pm. Practice begins at 3:30pm. Qualifying hits the track at 5pm followed by heat races. Opening Ceremonies are at 6pm.

DRIVER REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR June 13th for all Pro Late Models, 51FIFTY Jr Late Models, INEX Legends, and INEX Bandos

The MANDATORY driver preregistration for the June 13th event filmed for RACER TV is now open. NOTE, any driver not pre-entered will qualify first out in their division.

HOW TO ENTER - We make it easy for all drivers to enter, just text the division competing in, the driver’s name, hometown and car number to the race office at 559-507-9931. All Pro Late Models, Jr Late Models, INEX Legends, and INEX Bandos must pre-enter.

TIRES AND FUEL – If you need tires or fuel, place your order by texting the number of tires and the chalk mark sizes you would like. You can place an order for fuel by texting the number of gallons of fuel you would like to order. Note, Sunoco 110 is sold by the gallon and Sunoco E85R is sold by the 55-gallon drum.

The pre-entry is used for television production organization, pre-race promotional purposes, to set purses, and to make sure we have the proper amount of fuel and tires needed for the event.
Due to new/current regulations at Madera, we are no longer able to stock fuel so we must bring in the exact amount teams will use at an event, and we are limited on the amount of tires we can store at the property.
