Well, the time has come for me to retire as a State Farm agent!
These 34.5 years have been great & sure went quickly!
I am grateful to our Lord for the many customers who have placed their trust in me to handle their insurance business, but, mostly thankful for the friendships that I have made!
My last day as a State Farm agent is Tuesday, September 30.

If you are available, I would love to visit with you during my retirement drop-in, next Monday, September 29, 1pm to 5pm, at my office, 4909 Forsyth Road, Macon 31210.

Please join me in congratulating Alan Parker on his retirement effective September 30, 2025. Alan is proud to say, “by definition, I have been a State Farm customer every minute of my life!”
Alan’s father, George K. Parker began his State Farm Agency career on September 1, 1956.
Alan chose to follow in his father’s footsteps and began his agency journey on March 1, 1991. Together, State Farm has had a “Parker State Farm Agent” for the past 69 years!

Recently, Alan and his wife Denise moved to Perry, GA to be closer to grandchildren. Alan wants to spend more time at the beach, playing pickleball and traveling.
Alan and Denise have a 50th wedding anniversary trip planned for Alaska next year!

Alan would like to invite you to his retirement drop-in on Monday, September 29, 1 pm to 5 pm, at his office. The address is 4909 Forsyth Road in Macon.

Like her many friends and family members, our office has been devastated by the loss of our wonderful Jan Powers.
Jan was such an important part of our agency team during the seven years that she was with us.
She was a beloved friend and family to Amy, Ronda, Denise and me, and will be missed more than we can express.
Jan lived by high ethical standards and could be trusted with anything she did for our customers or us. Her quiet, caring demeanor was always reassuring.
I’m grateful to know, that through Jan’s faith in Christ Jesus, her eternity was settled a long time ago.
And, grateful that all of us could share our lives with Jan, for as long as we had her.

I apologize, but we had to close our office at 2:30 today due to a very major and unexpected emergency.
We will open at 9 AM tomorrow.
