🐾 CONFESSION BOOTH FRIDAY 🐾
Forgive me, Furever After, for I have sinned...
My name is Betty, and I confess: these ears? Not an accident. I practice pointing them straight up every single day so I look extra alert, extra elegant, and extra ready for my close-up. 👂👂
I also confess that I fully believe I'm the most photogenic dog at this rescue, and honestly? The evidence is starting to back me up. 😌📸
Some dogs confess to stealing socks. I confess to stealing hearts — one perfectly poised ear-tilt at a time.
If you're looking for a stunning girl with all the personality to match those gorgeous ears, I'm your girl. My furever home is out there somewhere, and I promise to look absolutely fabulous walking through the front door. 💕
Amen. 🙏🐾

Let's talk about crating. There's a big myth going around, and it's time to set the record straight! 🛑 The graphic here breaks it down simply. A crate isn't "doggie jail"—it's quite the opposite.
When done right, a crate satisfies your dog's natural denning instinct. It’s their own personal room, their quiet corner, and their absolute safe space during thunderstorms ⛈️ or fireworks 🎆. It's also their seatbelt when you're on the road.
The most important rule: Never use the crate as punishment. It should always be associated with positive things like cozy blankets, yummy treats, and peaceful rest.
Crates save lives... and let's face it, sometimes our sanity! Swipe to see why a loved crate is a safe place for life.
Happy ! 🐶💼

THE BEST KIND OF UPDATE: NOOB IS HOME! 🏡✨
When Noob was found locked in a crate on the side of the road, his entire world felt impossibly small. But when he joined our "Krate Krew," we promised him his world would get much bigger.
Today, that promise was kept. 🐾❤️
Noob has officially been ADOPTED! He’s traded that tiny crate and cold pavement for a warm lap, a soft couch, and a forever family who will show him just how big and full of love this world can really be. 🛋️✨
To everyone who rooted for him, shared his story, and helped him get here—thank you for giving Noob his second chance.
Happy life, sweet boy!

Name: Mira
Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Female/ estimated 1 year old/ 40 lbs
Vetting: Up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped
House trained/Crate trained: So far, no accidents in the house and does well in her crate. Doesn’t want to go into a crate, but we’re working on that. She is fed in a crate.
Dogs/Cats/Children: No cats. Mira does well around children. Mira can be dog tested upon request.
Energy level: Medium to High Energy
Before FAR/My history: Mira was found at the end of our road in Forsyth, GA in a ditch. Confused, but tail still wagging!
Training status/Commands I know: We’re currently working on a lot of manners and basic obedience. Lauren Edwards with Serenity K9 has been gracious in providing a session to help us get Mira to the right home. So far, we are working on heel, place, and sit. She is doing great and has a very sweet temperament. I suspect she would love to be on the couch with me snuggling if I would let her (we’re focusing on boundaries and structure right now though!). She loves to be petted and belly rubs! Food motivated and just wants to please.

Name: Luna
Breed: German Shepherd
Sex/Age/Weight: Female/estimated DOB 07-2022/69 lbs
Vetting: Up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventives
House trained/Crate trained: Yes/Yes
Dogs/Cats/Children: Luna is great with people and children over 6. She is very loving. She was raised with her sister and 3 other dogs in the household. Luna has not been observed around cats but can be cat tested upon request.
My History: On July 3rd, 2026, I was surrendered to the vet's office with my sister to be euthanized because my "owner", who had us since we were eight weeks old, decided that he was going to move and not take us with him. The vet asked for help, and this lady saved us. Unfortunately, we've been in boarding since July 3rd because we are still searching for a foster or adopter.
Ideal Family/Home: Someone who is experienced with this breed, and can teach and maintain basic obedience.
