The R.I.S.E. Initiative Grant Award Presentation where Congressman Sanford Bishop Jr. presented a well deserved check for $250,000 to D. A. Anita Reynolds Howard's R.I.S.E. Program was truly special. I am truly thankful to Anita Reynolds Howard for using funds to support the Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia !! I am excited to be a new board member for FCC! Her support will provide counseling services to Peach and Crawford Counties.

It’s been a great week at Family Counseling Center of Central Georgia ! One of the highlights 🤩 was a visit from a dear friend and fellow mental health advocate Rhonda Sunshine Miller! She is a respected Macon Artist who is passionate about breaking down the stigma behind mental illness and ensuring that everyone has access to care. Her art is proudly displayed in Christy Stepp Henry’s office and throughout FCC. Stay tuned for more information on her event on September 6, “Visions Unseen” 💚
