We are a church family spiritually knitted following the true doctrine of Jesus Christ. Our doors are open every Sunday! Be blessed! Pastor Charles W.

Pope III has been in the preaching ministry since 1994. He became Pastor of Crossroads Ministries in October 2006, after the passing of the founder of Crossroads, Pastor Eugene Cabiness. Under his leadership the ministry has increased. We are looking forward to more mighty things from the hand of God as he works through our shepherd. He is truly a man of God and humble as he oversees God's heritage.

The Cross Still Stands at Every Crossroads

📖 Luke 9:23 "If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me."

Every crossroads ultimately comes back to one question: Will I follow Jesus, even when the path costs me something?

Before you ever faced today's decision, Christ made the greatest decision of all.
He chose obedience.

Because of the Cross, we can trust the One leading us through every crossroads we encounter.

📖 John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life."

When you don't know which road to take, remember this: You don't just need a direction, you need the Way.

And when you're following Jesus, you're never walking alone.

Don't Camp at the Crossroads

📖 Deuteronomy 1:6–7 "You have stayed long enough at this mountain... Break camp and advance."

Some of us have been standing at the crossroads for so long that we've started decorating the intersection.

Waiting on God is biblical.

Refusing to move after God has spoken is not.

There comes a point where faith requires action.

📖 James 1:22 "Be doers of the word, and not hearers only."

When God says move, don't let fear convince you to remain where His grace has already called you beyond.

God Gives Peace Before He Gives Proof

📖 Philippians 4:6–7 "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

God doesn't always explain every detail before asking us to trust Him.

Sometimes, He gives peace first.

Peace isn't the absence of questions. It's the presence of God in the middle of them.

📖 Isaiah 26:3 "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You."

When the road ahead is unclear, don't chase certainty.

Chase the One who already knows the way.

The Road You Leave Behind

📖 Philippians 3:13–14 "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal..."

Crossroads always require leaving something behind.

Sometimes, it's comfort. Sometimes, it's fear. Sometimes, it's a version of yourself that God has outgrown.

You can not embrace your next season while refusing to release your last one.

Even Abraham had to leave before he knew exactly where he was going.

📖 Genesis 12:1 "Go from your country... to the land I will show you."

Obedience often begins before the destination is fully revealed.

Every Open Door Isn't Your Door

📖 1 John 4:1 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God."

At a crossroads, every opportunity can look like a blessing.

A promotion. A relationship. A business opportunity. An open door.

But not every open door is God's invitation.
Discernment means asking God before assuming every opportunity is His will.

📖 Proverbs 14:12 says, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death."

Don't confuse accessibility with assignments.

God's doors bring peace, purpose, and alignment with His Word, not just excitement.

The Crossroads Isn't Punishment

📖 Jeremiah 6:16 "This is what the Lord says: 'Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.'"

We often think crossroads mean we've taken a wrong turn. But Scripture paints a different picture.

God doesn't tell His people to panic at the crossroads. He tells them to stand, look, ask, and walk. Before making a move, He invites them to seek His direction.
Not every season of uncertainty is God withholding direction. Sometimes, it's an invitation to pursue Him more deeply than the answer you're searching for.
The crossroads reveal what we trust. Will we rush ahead because waiting feels uncomfortable, or will we remain still until God speaks?

📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart... and He will make your paths straight."

The answer isn't found in moving faster. It's found in following God faithfully.
