Macon Community Fridge

Join us on Saturday, September 28th for our annual Recovery Month Celebration & Narcan Training Event at Macon Recovers! There will be a reception with refreshments starting at 3:30 PM. From 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM, listen to stories of recovery from diverse recovery pathways and learn about Certified Peer Specialists and recovery allies. At 5:30 PM, we will hold a training on overdose prevention and use of Narcan. Take home Narcan, the lifesaving drug that can help reverse an opioid overdose.

When the news is bleak and we feel helpless, this is what we lean toward-- community care that will ripple outward ⛲️

whew y'all 💔 the news has been BLEAK for our unhoused neighbors, locally and nationally.
how are you showing up for our community this weekend? there has never been a better time to drop some nutritious food off for our Macon kin.

Just a reminder y'all that our fridge is still off but awesome catered meals like those shared with us from Bootle Court can be taken to !

With food being weaponized against folks living in the margins across the globe, we're leaning into community care and nourishing meals for our neighbors. If you have the funds to contribute to a grocery haul this weekend, please do!
