Hi, hello, it’s been a little while! These past few months have been super hectic and I’ve been out of the art-making groove, so I was super excited to get commissioned for this painting. What’s more relaxing than painting the beach??

#13: Great Smoky Mountains National Park — another beautiful place to visit in the Spring 🌸

#12: Shenandoah National Park. Who doesn’t love mountain wildflowers ☺️

#11: New River Gorge National Park. Since we’re so close to the beginning of Spring I decided to start painting some of my favorite shots from my last springtime road trip. Highly recommend visiting New River Gorge this time of year if you want to see tons of rhododendrons!

#10: Saguaro National Park

#9: Zion National Park. One of my favorite National Park experiences has been hiking The Narrows 😍 however I would recommend waiting for warm weather instead of going for it in February like we did 🥶

#8: Bryce Canyon

#7: Capitol Reef National Park, Utah; Probably the most remote park I’ve been to. I highly recommend driving the loop around the waterpocket fold if you have an appropriate vehicle!

#6: Canyonlands National Park. Pro tip: if you’re going to drive to the bottom of a canyon, it’s a good idea to bring an air compressor, just in case a rock gets jammed in your tire… especially if you plan to drive somewhere even more remote the following day…

#5: Arches National Park, Utah — Double Arch

#4: Great Sand Dunes National Park (finishing off Colorado’s National Parks) I wasn’t very good at sand boarding, but sand sledding was a blast 😆

#3: inspired by Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. Hiking to the bottom of this canyon and back is way up there on the list of most difficult things I’ve ever done (but I highly recommend if you’re up for a challenge). It’s actually deeper than the Grand Canyon with a max depth of 8,043 ft! (That’s 5.5 times the height of the Empire State Building 🤯)
