Just like the athletes taking the world stage, Mitch showed what it means to never give up. After suffering a football injury that required meniscus and MCL repair by OrthoGeorgia Sports Medicine Specialist Dr. Brian Ludwig, Mitch put in the work through physical therapy with Natalie and made an incredible comeback—returning just in time for soccer tryouts and earning his spot back between the posts as Houston County High School’s starting varsity goalkeeper.

Robotic-assisted joint surgeries are rapidly transforming orthopedic care.

Recent studies show total joint arthroplasty volumes increased by over 600% from 2015 to 2020—a clear sign of growth in this advanced technology.

Research also highlights:
✔️ Higher patient satisfaction with robotic-assisted knee replacements
✔️ No increased risk of infection compared to traditional techniques
✔️ Patients were 3.2x more likely to report improved quality of life one year after surgery

In total hip arthroplasty, studies found no difference in joint infection rates between robotic and conventional approaches—further supporting the safety and effectiveness of robotic navigation.

OrthoGeorgia is proud to lead the way as the first Ambulatory Surgery Center in Georgia to offer the Stryker Mako Robotic System—bringing precision, innovation, and trusted care to our patients.
