Apparently y’all took my “we’ll be open tomorrow” as a personal challenge and bought me out. 😅

So today I’m trading my apron for a shopping cart and a prep list. We need to restock and prep for a Dallas event, because Cajun food doesn’t magically appear… despite rumors that it grows on swamp trees. 🌳🦞

We’ll hopefully be back at Ivan Smith’s Furniture in Gun Barrel City Sunday & Monday—assuming I survive the grocery bill and the mountain of prep work waiting for me. 😂

‼️TRAILER DRAMA UPDATE‼️

Well y’all… our trailer apparently woke up this morning and chose violence. 😒

We were all set to open today from 12-5, but when we hooked up the trailer, we discovered some of the lights decided they no longer wanted to participate in today’s activities. 🤦🏽‍♀️ We had them fixed Tuesday, but apparently nobody told the trailer.

We’re waiting on our guys to come work their magic. If they can convince these lights to start acting right, we’ll be rolling into Ivan Smith Furniture around 1:00–1:30 PM.

If not, the trailer may be getting a time-out, and we’ll see y’all Sunday from 12-5 instead.

Stay tuned… because apparently today’s special is Cajun food with a side of electrical mysteries. ⚜️🚚💡😂
