Every once in a while, a photo perfectly captures the magic of a wedding day.

The still water. The early fall light. The anticipation. And a bride who looked absolutely incredible!

Moments like these are why we love what we do 🤍

Some people’s mornings start in a rush.

Ours start with animals, honeybees, coffee, and gratitude.

The good times really do go by too fast, and we don’t take a single second of this life for granted 🤍

One of our favorite things about ranch life is that there's always a new story unfolding.

This week, that story includes two Mini Highland cows, a Valais Blacknose sheep, and her sweet little Valais Babydoll lamb.

We're excited to have them as part of the Lazy Stud Ranch family and can't wait for our couples and guests to meet them 🤎

Meet the crew behind Lazy Stud Ranch 🤎

Every member of this team has four legs (or a few thousand wings), a big personality, and a job title they assigned themselves.

They’re the first to greet visitors, the last to leave a wedding cleanup, the self-appointed supervisors of every project, the protectors of the property, the snack inspectors, the flower sniffers, the fence testers, and a big part of what makes this place feel like home.

Life on the ranch wouldn’t be the same without them, and honestly, neither would we.

Welcome to the Lazy Stud Ranch employee handbook. 🐾🫏🐮🐝

P.S. Human Resources has informed us that several new hires may be joining the team soon… stay tuned. 👀🤎

Sometimes it’s nice to slow down for a minute and take it all in.

Grateful for the land, the journey, and everything this ranch is becoming🤍

A slower weekend. A little time by the water. A little time around the fire. A chance to recharge.

Thank you for your patience if you’ve been waiting on a response from us. We’re back tomorrow morning and looking forward to connecting with everyone this week 🤍

Even with the weddings, tours, emails, projects, and everything else that fills our days, one thing we've never taken for granted is what we've built together here at Lazy Stud Ranch.

What started as a generational family ranch has slowly become a place where people gather, celebrate, reconnect, and create memories they'll carry with them for a lifetime.

Every path, tree, light, flower bed, stone, and gathering space was designed with intention. Not just to be beautiful, but to create a place that feels welcoming, peaceful, and meaningful from the moment you arrive.

The vision has always been about creating more than just a wedding venue. Every herb tucked into a rock wall, every tree planted around the ranch, every light carefully placed by Lindquist Outdoor Lighting, LLC., and even the addition of our Italian honeybees has been part of a larger dream. A place where the land itself becomes part of the experience. Where herbs can find their way into a signature cocktail, flowers into a bouquet, honey into a welcome gift, and every corner of the ranch tells a story.

It's especially meaningful because this property has been part of our story long before it became a wedding venue. We first met here as teenagers at the bonfires Kyle used to host on the ranch. Looking back, it's hard to believe that years later we'd be married, building a life here together, and creating a place where other people can gather to celebrate, make memories, and begin their own stories.

One of my favorite parts of each day is that almost every evening, Kyle and I take a walk around the property together. It's become a little ritual of ours. It's a chance to slow down, take it all in, dream about what's next, and appreciate how far we've come. Some nights we're planning future projects, and other nights we're simply soaking in the view and feeling grateful for what we've built together on the foundation of a ranch that's been part of Kyle's family for three generations.

We're incredibly grateful for every couple, family, friend, vendor, and supporter who has been part of this journey so far. Watching this vision come to life has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives.

Sometimes it's nice to see the ranch from a different perspective and reflect on just how far it's come. 🤍
