Last September I had a booth at an art show on Catalina Island and did not post these photos as I was going through a lot at that time. My mother was in the hospital and has since passed. My mother in law passed 10 days later and one of our dearest friends also passed away 6 weeks after that. While it’s been hard working through all the emotions, which I won’t get into on this format, I feel it’s time to move forward and share my gift of creativity and what I’ve been up to. Please notice the detail of the inlay of the island shape as well as the edge coat trim. There are countless hours in this project and I enjoyed every minute creating this piece.
